June 3, 2019: Franconia Elementary School. 12:30 pm.
The musicians went to inspire young musicians, but we were also inspired by all the energy and talent in the crowd. It was nice especially nice to have the kids sing a long during the disney songs- it felt like a collaborative experience between the audience and the performers.
April 27, 2019: Ichthus Mission Church, 9:30am.
We all had a lovely time with the kids at the school. The kids are just starting to learn violin and flute in music class, so they really enjoyed to see those instruments performed. It was really nice to see the kids excited, because they got to see musicians performing the instrument they dream of performing one day.
June 2, 2018 Blessed Tree Community Church. Germantown, MD. 11:30am.
The performers really enjoyed performing for the students at the Blessed Tree Community Church. During the presentation, the children shared their personal stories about how they chose their instruments. It was great for the audience to interact with our performers and to share their passion for music with us. Also, the students’ personal stories motivated their classmates to find their hobbies as well. It’s great to see the program create conversations about music within the community!
